Join us on another car chit chat where we talk about doing what is right, not what is easy in your marriage.
As we headed to one of our favorite conferences of the year we’re back on the road… FinCon 2016 was in San Diego this year and there was sure to be plenty of In-N-Out stops while on the West Coast. If you don’t know what the magic of In-N-Out Burger is, may we be the first to introduce you.
But for todays episode, let’s get down to it.
Each week we make sure to carve out time to have our kids share a few things as a family…
- What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this week?
- What are you most looking forward to next week.
- A short quote or scripture that they can discuss and really grasp.
This past week, we shared with our boys a quote that totally can apply to marriage too.
Do what is right, not what is easy.
In the Rose house cramming a lot into the early morning can be tough. Whether it’s getting all four kids ready to leave each day… making breakfast and lunches… working out (is that a thing?)… and all their meltdowns. There’s plenty of moments it’s so much easier to do what you may want rather than what is right.
Tune in to hear how in our marriage we’ve had to learn to do what’s right and not what’s easy in daily life when you are not only parents but also married and trying to share the joy (or sometimes chaos) of parenting. It’s a process.
