It’s really no secret that my hubby is romantic. I remember when we first started dating and he would do the most unique, sweetest, sometimes wierd but alwasy appreciated, things for me.

For example, I can remember when he went away to his 2 week training for the military back in 2004 and he bought me this GIANT stuffed animal dog. He actually made the dog a t-shirt with iron-on’s that said “Jeff’s temporary replacement” on the front and “HUG WHEN NEEDED” on the back. Cutest.thing.ever.

There was one time that he bought me this adorable little fish candle holder from Pier I and left it for me in my apartment with a note that said “there’s many fish in the see…but your the fish for me.”

I know, go ahead and gag now. But I adore his sense of romance.

These are just a few of the things he’s pulled out of his back pocket. I could probably name hundreds more. Just ask my college roommates. They can attest to his sweetness.

They could also probably tell you some not so sweet stories about when he would climb our back patio fence at 2:00 am after a night out and try to serenade me us. Seems sweet right? But, probably more annoying than sweet at 2:00 am!

Anyway, yesterday he decided that he was going to download some of our favorite old school love songs. He’ll do anything to increase his chances of getting some sex cuddling time. Ahem.

The second he started going through the songs…I suddenly remembered how much I LOVE me some Silk, Boys II Men, Color Me Badd, and Jodeci (only to name a few).

I was singing along and pretty much knew every.single.lyric.

Who knew that the way to my pants heart was 90’s R&B?!
