Coming to you from the third day of us being with Janella… we are here to just keep it real sharing all the raw emotions, fears and joys day to day during this adoption process.
We expected picking up a new child to be emotional, but the entire process has been far more incredible than anyone could have ever prepared us for. (Cue all the tears!)
We never want to forget how we felt seeing her face, touching her hand or kissing her head for the first time.
We never ever want to forget the black lace leggings, the kiss lips t-shirt or the purple worn out shoes she had on when we laid eyes on her that day.
We never want to forget how they said “there’s mommy” the second we walked off the plane. Or how they had our family photo book with them and continually tried to show her our picture.
To help paint the story of our full journey from meeting her for the first time, visiting her orphanage and all that came along with it, we were able to have a videographer and photographer with us throughout the experience to help capture our journey. They made it possible for us to never forget all the details and we are so thrilled to have some footage to share along with this episode.
