We’re chattin’ about turning on the lights when your spouse is sleeping, BBQ ribs and why you should try them when your husband spends 6 hours cooking them… and fair food.

Hands up if you have hid while eating dessert just so your kids don’t see you… yep, us too.

Hands up if you and your spouse have the constant issue of turning on the lights while the other one is sleeping? What’s your resolution for getting up and going to bed at different times?

And packing essentials… hands up if you struggle to survive without a neck pillow when traveling.

Her VERY FIRST fair ride was quite a mix of emotions. She wanted to go on the swings so we asked her kind (eye rolling) big brother to join her.

Seriously, the picture of him on the left – imagine the eye rolling emoji ?.

As soon as it started going she cried for about the first 5 circles around. And then suddenly her cry turned into a laugh and all of our hearts were relieved. Including SJ’s. Phew.

Perhaps next year we will attempt the mini Ferris wheel. But this year, one was good.
